A LOAN REFUSED. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyr'ght. Received Oct. 20, 12.25 a.m. New York, October 18. The New York Times' Peking correspondent states that the consortium Ims refused to make an advance to China under the proposed reorganisation loan. It is understood that a Japanese group has been negotiating such a loan, hut Tokio has not approved of it.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
