The clerk met him at dinner-at Bentinck's Castle. Wllhelm was garrulous And" monopolised the conversation. He proved that his memory was still acute and he was well posted in affairs and- ' current political gossip. After dinner he produced a map of the Eastern JVont, and proudly discussed battles, telling of German commanders' exploits in beat- i ing back the Russians. —Times Service.
