By-Telegraph.—Press Asm.—Copyright 1 Received Oct. 16, 11.20 p.m. Allahabad, Oct. 15. ji consequence of the attitude of the Wazaris during the Afghan War, it has been decided to send a punitive expedition against Waziristan. The operations will mark a new departure in frontier operations. Instead of fighting with infantry, cavalry, and artillery, it is intended to punish the Wazaris by intensive bombing by aeroplanes, a number of which are already concentrated on the frontier. If the experiment is successful it may prove a solution of all frontier problems. An official announcement will Shortly be issued.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
