PKOTEST AT BIG PRIZES. 1 . » By Telegraph .—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. At a meeting of the executive of the Wellington Bowling Centre to-night attention was drawn to a poster Issued by the Southland Centre respecting its New Year meeting, stating that prize money aggregating £UB would be allocated. It was decided to draw the attention of the Dominion Association to the programme jn question, expressing the opinion that the giving of such large prizes, presumably in cash, was most harmful in the best Interests of the game, and calling upon the Association to cancel permission to the Southland Centre to hold the tournament -until that centre withdrew the offer of such large prizes and rtsduced tho value of any trophy offered to pot more than the maximum resolved upon at the Association's last meeting, namely £5 5s per player.
