THE WAIRARAPA SEAT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Carterton, Last Night, A representative meeting of settlers of Carterton to-day decided to support the candidature at the general election of Mr. A. D. McLeod, of "Mangapari," Martinborough, for the Wairarapa seat, in the Reform Party's interests. Mr. McLeod, who has been chairman of the Featherston County Council for the past 17 years, consented to nomination.
