REVIVAL OF MONARCHY. POLICY OF THE NATIONALISTS. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Berlin, October 11. There were stormy scenes in the National Assembly when the Independent Socialist, Herr Heneke, condemned the suppression of the Independent Socialist newspapers, and made startling allegations that the students' societies, ex-soldiers' societies,, rifle clubs, gymnastic societies, and the farmers were receiving arms in large numbers, which was a violation of the Peace Treatv. There were indignant shouts of: "You're hounding the_ Entente soldiery against Germany." Herr Heneke' retorted that he was speaking the truth. The Nationalist Keintz admitted that his party was striving to establish * Monarchy. The Minister, Herr David, reminded the House that the Monarchy had plunged Germanv into the deepest mis-ery.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
