By Telegraph.—Per Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. An atmospheric depression passed in the north on Sunday, and one has since developed in the south. Fair to cloudy weather has prevailed in the East Coast districts, but elsewhere the conditions have ..been unsettled at times with rain in many parts. Wind has been variable with moderate to strong westerlies ruling and freshening to-day in the south. Present indications are for strong northwest to south-west winds and changeable and squally weather generally with rain probable, j especially in districts with a westerly as- j pect. The barometer is unsteady.
