.-* fOUND DROWNED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. At the inquest on Samuel Forsyth, whose ))ody was found in the" Avon this morning, a verdict of found drowned was returned. -KILLED BY MOTOR CYCLE. Whangarei, Oct. 10. Major George Clark Walker, aged 67 years, a pioneer resident of Whangarei, was knocked down by a motor cycle last night. He was able to walk home, but succumbed this morning to abdominal injuries.
