' ■ After a lengthy discussion, the fol» lowing resolutions were earried:— 1 Tiiat provided the debenture-holders free from their security St. Germain Square, and that the town of New P!y« ■■ month raises £ISOO by way of Rift towards the cost of additional buildings, the society be requested to erect the necessary additional buildings at an estimated cost of £4OOO, 2 (a) That the rules of the society fce altered to provide for government by an executive; (b) by a general committee to control the autumn show; (c) hyal general committee to control the winter show, the latter to consist" of 30 members, 20 of whom shall be resident* tf ■ New Plymouth.

3. That the society grant the committee one month in which to endeavor to raise the necessary money.
