DOMINION'S TRADE.
1 RETURNS FOR'EIGHT MONTHS. Exports' from the Dominion during August were valued at £3.925,052 and imports at £2,193,235. The trade for the eight months of the year, compared with the corresponding period of last year, has been as follows: Eight mouths. mm. ms. 'inc record trade balance was £10,772,102 in 1915, and even with the allowance of 20 per cent, for higher landed cost, as suggested in the Budget, the imports for the eight months would still be less by over £13,000.000 than the exports during the period.
