NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. The annual meeting of the New Plymou'h Tennis Club is to be held on Saturday evening. The prospects for the ensuing season are very encouraging from all points of view. During the Inst two or three seasons there was n reduction in the number of men members owing to the war, but most of thes* have now returned and will be talcing up. tennis during the coming season with renewed ' enthusiasm. The club is making extensive improvements to its property" Hcccntly an adjoining section was secured and tho work of laying down two new .grass courts is well in hand. The asphalt court has been done nway with, but when the new courts are finished the club win be In the fortunate position of having SIX grass courts. The two new ones will not be ready for olay. until the 1920-21 season. The existing lawns arc under the care of a capable caretaker and are in excellent condition.
