ALTERATIONS IN BOARD OF TRADE BILL. (By Wire.—Own Correspondent)' Wellington, Last NitfM. i The Board of Trade Bill, which wa» passed by the House some time ago, has been amended to Borne extent by the Council, and is now coming back to tae House for approval. The amendment* deal chiefly with details of procedure. The most important appears to be that, in assessing profits, the courts are to deal with individual linea and not with businesses as a whole. The effect of this amendment is to prevent th« •rer* aging of profits. Each line must «Und on its own merits. There may be soma dispute on the point, since an old-e»tab-li3hed business practice is involved,
