TERRITORIALS' SERVICE IN CAMP.
SHOULD IT BE ALLOWED FOR? By Wire—Own Correspondent. Wellington, Oct. 7. Mr Semple asked a question in the House to-dar, which many young men in the territorial force have been concerned about for some time. Ho referred to those young members of the territorial forces who were called up for service with the expeditionary force, saying some of these men had served in camp with the expeditionary force for six months before the armistice was signed. He asked the Minister whether it could not be arranged that those men should be credited with this amount of training, and that they should be. excused from this amount of work with the territorials.
Sir -Jas, Allen declined to answer the question offhand, and he asked that notice be given of it in the regular way. OBJECTION BY TIMARU. Timaru, Last Night. The Timaru Presbytery to-day, with s >me dissent, carried a resolution that four months military camp training for youths of IS was too long, ami was not, likely to prove beneficial to the moral development of young and inexperienced men.
