WANGANUI SUPPORTS AUCKLAND. Wanganul, Last Night. At n meeting nf Hie Wanirnnul Hoekev Association to-night Hie following resolmion was carried: That tile Wanganul Hnctav Association expresses Its keen regret, at the unsportsmanlike- resolutions passed on Mr Kent, the Auckland referee, and unanimously support tho Auckland Association in demanding an apntojry from the Canterbury Association. Mr. Williams, the secretary, who managed tho ladies' team which recently visited Christchurch ii jved the resolution, and said that, In his opinion, Cinrorbury should have been tin last to pass censure on any referee, judging by the manner In which the ladies' matches were refereed during the tournament bv some o. the Canterbury members, who played In the Canterbury representativ team.
