Cotton.—The Liverpool quotation for November delivery Is ID.UId. Hemp.—.Market dull; hljjli point fair OctoberDecember shipment £47. Juto Nominal, September-October £7O. Copra,—Weal:, October-December £53 103. Linseed Oil.—£Bl per ton. Turpentine.—l2ls per cut. Peninsular and Oriental shares, £COO. Wool.—Tho sales closed llrm, 200,000 bales being catalogued, and practically all sold, although extreme prices were not fully maintained during the Inst few days owing to tho unoaslness duo to the strike, All round, the prices were considerably above the August sales. Best merinos sold at huge prices, mostly to America, ranging from ten to fitter per cent, advance; average and faulty Merinos were sold, chiefly to Continental firms, at 0 to 7% per cent, advance. Good scoureds advanced 10 per cent, and faulty scoureds were Irregular. Medium fine erossbreds advanced 5 to 10 per cent. Coarse greasies, sjlpe and shabby scoured were at par, with aoine Irregularity. The situation In the Bradford tops market Is likely to improve, as the operatives decided to work overtime.—Aus.-N.Z.
