A telegram from Washington, a village in Georgia, states that two negroes, accused of wounding the deputy sheriff, were lynched and shot when hanging. Reports from Elaine, Arkansas, allege the discovery of a plot by negroes to murder white planters in the district, take possession of the land, and till it.
