THE TAINUI DISASTER.
ANOTHER BODY RECOVERED. > By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christehurch, Last Night. , Sergeant Scott, of Cheviot, reported]/ to-day that another body from that wrecked Tainui had been recovered. The* body was in an advanced state of decom< position. The height was from to 6ft., and the build stout, the facefbeing unidentifiable, but there are tattoir marks on the left forearm in the forma of a rising sun over a cross and Sags. The clothing had practically tell gonw when the body was discovered. The description given by the constable would apply in certain respects to either tba captain of the vessel (Captain Cowan)| or to the mate (Stevens). Their wives, reside at Winganui, and are being com-' municated with. It is thought the tattoo" marks will prove a reliable means of' identification.
