A DEADLY CRAVING. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christrhuroh. Sept. 28. An unusual procedure was ordered by Mr. S. E. McCarthy, S.M., at the Magistrate's Court to-day, when issuing a prohibition order ngainst a man. It whs stated by the applicant that the defendant was in the habit of going lo chemists' shops on Sunday and purchasing methylated spirits to satisfy his craving. The Magistrate prohibited the defendant for twelve months and ordered copies of the order to be sunt to all local chemists.
