Canterbury B. aud Wanganul played a drawn game, neither side scoring. Canterbury A. beat Nelson by 7 coals to nil. Monawatu beat Auckland by 2 goals to' nil. NEW ZEALAND ASSOCIATION. Chrlstchurch, Last Night. At a special meeting of the Council of the New Zealand Hockey Association, a motion .moved by the Manawatu Association that a resolution granting the Felldlng Association affiliation to the New Zealand Association be rescinded, was discussed at length. *a amendment that the matter be held over pending effort being made to effect an amalgamation of the Felldlng and MgnawaCu Associations on a basis of equal representation satisfactory to both parties, was carried by 8 rotes to 6. A sub-committee wa3 appointed to go Into the question of district boundaries. Regarding tho Nordon Cup, It was agreed it* be a recommendation to the executive to consider making provision in the rules governing the competition to enable the Associations to have two, or sub-Associations to Issue a challenge for the cup by the team selected from any one of Its sub-Associations.
