ENTERTAINMENTS.

I EVERYBODY'S.

LAST NIGHT OF "THE ATOM." The Triangle drama, "The Atom," ■Blowing finally to-night at Everybody's, • as a play that is reminiscent of Pauline ;6tarke's best work. She portrays the .role of a fourteen-yeai-old child, and her , remarkably fine work glistens as a vein ' of gold through the story. Harry Mestayer and; Belle Bennett render supPjorfc in a story that has much attraction a novelty and presentation. • v "SORROWS OF SATAN." jf' TO-MORROW AND SATURDAY. ■ England's most valuable contribution ~ 10 the screen is the appearance of - Sladys Cooper, the famous beauty ■ tctress, in "The Sorrows of Satan." Miss Cooper is ably supported by Owen Nares •liid Cecil Humphreys, two of the best known actorß on the English stage toby.' The picture is a dramatisation of l&arie Corelli's world-read novel, and the - ttory takes on an added interest in the screen version, where one can see the • characters in real life. There are six lets of magnificent dramatic action which culminate in a stupendous climax. The staging is on a par with the best American films, and the film can easily be classed as the best yet re- , feived from the Old Country. •J THE PEOPLE'S. ARBUCKLE MATINEE 3.30 TO-DAY. The great favorite of the kiddies, • Roscoe (Fatty) Arbuckle, will, in re- . gponse to innumerable requests, be screened to-day at 3.30 in his big riot of fun, "The Sheriff." This picture wUI also be extra on to-night's new bill presenting beautiful Mildred Harris, now Mrs Charlie Chaplin, in the first of the famous "Jewel" pictures, "Borrowed Clothes." It is worthy of mention that a good idea of the bride's appearance may be gained in this picture for she ' is seen in her wedding array. You be- ' corite well acquainted with Mrs Charlie Chaplin in this picture- First you see her as the little shop girl, then in a bathing suit at the seaside, then in borrowed finery, then in bridal gown about to marry a man she loathed, but in the end you see her in the arms of a man ' she really loves —happy and contented.
