LORD BEATTY'S PEACE DINNER. By Toleeroph —Press Assn - Copyright, i London, Sept. 22, Five hundred representatives of all the lower deck ratings, including all availably Winners of the Victoria Cross, were entertained by Lord Beatty and 42 other admirals at a peace dinner at Portsmouth. The seamen covered the town hall with electric illuminations. The Excellent'. 1 ! gun crew, which won the championship at the Olympia tournament, hauled Lord Bnatty's motor car in triumph to the town hall.—Aus. N.Z. Cable Assoc.
