TARANAKI OIL COMPANY.

To the Editor. Sir,—As a shareholder may t nnco again use your columns to draw tho attention of the local directors to give some explanation of what the company Is doing and how it stands. The refinery has been sold, and I understand other chattels are being disposed of. Are the wages the reason for these sales or are the shareholders going lo get a partition? It's truly the greatest conundrum I ever heard of in public' company management. When is a statement of the company's working going to bo put before the shareholders? I hate using the press asking continually for Information for shareholders, but what else can one do?-1 am, etc., D. J. HUGHES.
