OTAKI RESULTS, FOR SECOND DAT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Ota«l, Last Night. The second day of tho Otakl meeting was held In dull weather, rain falling during the afternoon. There was again a marked decrease In the attendance and totalisator receipts. Results:— TRIAL HANDICAP.—3 Idleness (L. Morris) 1, 6 Moutoa Boy 2, 1 Sweet Memory 3. Also started: 2 Haercmoana, 4 Sunburst, 8 Stolen Triumph, 7 Preface. From a good 3tart Idleness led followed by Haeremoana. At the entrance to the straight Moutoa Boy and Sweet Memory challenged tho leader, who won by two lengths. Time, 1.3 2-5. DOMINION HACK HANDICAP.—2 Royal Exchange (A. Reed) 1, 7 Beloved 2, 5 Utuwai 3. Also started: 1 Sacramento, 4 May Morn, 7 Marcli On, 3 Consultation, G Russet. From the start Russet took command. Beloved and Royal Exchange being handy. This position was maintained till entarlng the straight, when Russet fell back, leaving them to light the finish. Royal Exchange won comfortably by two lengths. Time, 1.29 2-5. STEEPLECHASE,—I First Line (Kaan) I, 3 Pawerewere 2, 4 Coldstream 3. Also started: 2 Want (fell). Pawerevftre led the field till entering the straight when First Line overhauled him and won easily. Time, 3.54 3-5. PRESIDENT'S HANDICAP—3 Old Gold (L. Morris) 1, 4 Pacific Slope 2, 2 Mouota Iranova 3 Also started: 1 Mascot, 5 Detroit, 6 Spangle. Detroit led all the way till well up the straight, Old (Sold being handy. The latter came with a well timed run and won by a length, Moutoa Ivanova being close up third. Time, 1.46. ELECTRIC HACK.—I Arch Lassie (L. Morris) 1, 2 Red Signal 2, 9 Restful 3. Also atarted: 6 Samarang, 4 Wonder, 3 Chaercnla, 1 8 Matty, 7 Prlntemps, 5 American Beauty. Wonder followed by Red Signal led for the greater, part of the distance, but were overhauled 1 In the straight by Arch Lassie and Restful. The former .won by a length. Time, 1.2 1-5. RAILWAY HANDICAP.—I Astinome (T. Young) 1, 4 Trentham Rose 2, 2 Matatua 3. Also started: 3 Birkenvale. Trentham Rose led by several lengths for the greater part of the distance, being only overhauled near the post and beaten by three-quarters of a length after a good finish. Time, 1.15. RAHUI WELTER.—2 Dick (Emerson) 1, 3 Ralland 2, 5 Pervolo 3. Also started: 1 Manu, 4 Master Boris. Pervolo was first out. Master Boris being next. , Half way up the straight the field closed up, but nearlng home Dick came away and won by two lengths, a neck separating the second and third. Time, 1.44 3-5. WAITOHU WELTER.—S Tyne (Emerson) 1, 4 Sweet Tipperary 2, 1 AMka 3. Also started 6 Prince Delaware, 2 Flash Lady, 3 Sir Wallace. Tyne led throughout and won by two lengths.
