The suppressing of Irish papers is due to publication of the prospectus of the Sinn Fein national loan. It is believed that all will be Tevived shortly, as the authorities are willing to restore the essential parts of the presses seized recently. It is announced that a development company is prepared to advance a hundred and fifty million sterling in loans to enable the Irish municipalities to build working-class houses. The company now proposes to expend many moTe millions in constructing three new shipbuilding yards at Dublin.—Times Setvice. i LLOYD GEORGE TO GRAPPLE WITH THE PROBLEM. London, Sept. 20. A Snilit&ry order issued in Ireland prohibits assemblies, including fairs and markets, in County Tipperary and part of County Galway. The 'times' political correspondent says that Mf. Lloyd George proposes to take the Irish question in hand and has summoned Lord French to London. He finds the problem more difficult than three months ago. The Nationalists' temper is sullen and exasperated, whilst the outbreak of crime has even the most moderate Unionists back upon an immovable policy of law and orders Times. Hand crenades for police.
