arrests at taumarunui By Telegraph.—Presi Association. ' r r..T» Taumarunui, Last Night. J. UDonnell was arrested on Saturday y miles north of Te Awamutu on the way to Rotorua. It is alleged he went a ,,^? U6e , at Mft tiere on the night of the 14th and attempted a serious assault on a woman, and while she went for assistance he attempted a similar assault on the daughter of the accused. He was employed on the Stratford main trunk railway construction between Okahukura and Matiere. The Taumarunui police arrested a Rarotongan on Saturday night with articles stolen from Huntly in his possession.
