VICTORIAN LABOR AGREEABLE. By Telegraph.—Prcs3 Assn Copyright. Melbourne, Sept. 19. The Federal Labor Party decided not to oppose the ratification of the Peace Treaty. AMERICAN RATIFICATION DELAY. JAPANESE ACTION. Received Sept. 20, 12.30 a.m. Washington, Sept. 18. Senator Borah estimates that the Senate will not ratify the treaty before Deromber. According to information received from Tokio. Japan will ratify the treaty at the end of September. It is understood that Japan will not. specify the date of the return of Shantung until mina enters into a private agreement with Japan.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
