DEPOSITS #ITH THE VATICAN. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rome, Sept. 17. During and since the war many important personages in various belligerent countries have deposited gold, jewels, and securities with the Vatican in order to guard against, post-war seizure. German and Austrian securities were especially numerous. 'Since the armistice the Vatican hud charged an ad valorem rent. It is understood that the rent has supported the Vatican's expenses arising frotn the war.—Aus. N.X. Gable Assoc; THE CAPORETTA DISASTER. Received Sept. 19, 8.10 p.m. Rome, Sept. IS. The Chamber of Deputies, by 211 votes to 28, adopted the Caporetto disaster report, which blamed General Cadorna.
