ANGLO-FRENCH AGREEMENT. By Telegraph.—Proas Assn.—Copyright. Received Sept. 18, 8.50 p.m. Paris, Sept. 10. Mi. Lloyd George and M. Clemenceau have agreed respecting a temporary arrangement in regard to Syria, Whereby British troops will be withdrawn to lower Syria and Palestine, leaving the French in upper Syria. The French are to negotiate with the Emir of Fesul concerning territorial boundaries.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assoc.
