Several Anglo-French newspapers challenge the authenticity of the report that the Supreme Council has settled its attitude towards Russia by leaving the Russians to work »ut their own destiny. The Echo de Paris Bays the report is premature, and that no decision has been reached. The American delegation flatly denies that the question was even mentioned at the Council's meetings. The Peace Council, in its present form, Rdjnurns sine die in ten days' time. The press calls .attention to the lengthy list of unfinished matters, including peace with Bulgaria and Hun'garv, the problem of German and Polish Conflicts, the status of the Baltic countries, the relations between the Allies and Russia, the fate of Turkey, and financial solidarity between the Allies.— Times Service. DEMAND FOR EX-KAISER. Received Sept. 18, 9.45 p.m. Paris, Sept. 10. It is understood the Supreme Council decided to request Holland to surrender the ex-Kaiser, and it is expected that Holland will willingly acquiesce. Sir Eyre Crowe has been appointed British representative' on the Supreme Council.
