ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
A CAR SOMERSAULTS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. i ~ Napier, Sept. 18. whilst Mr, R. L. Williams, of the Ann of Henry Williams and Sons, was driving from Napier yesterday, the car got out of control and wobbled and then appeared to turn right over and landed on its wheels again, when it commenced running down a bank backwards towards the sea. Williams was severely shaken and received a nasty blow on the chest. Two other passengers who were in the car escaped without serious injuries, although all suffered a great deal from shock. A cyclist named Bowman was thrown heavily to the ground and severely shaken. The car was badly knocked about.
