A meeting of the District Committee of the Taranalti Jockey Club was held on Tuesday night, there being present: Messrs. L. A. Nolan (in the chair), (J. Frascr, N. King, 0. W. Sole, E A. Washer, .1. firnv, A. Good, B. 1L Chanoy, E. P. Blundell, W. .1. Morrison, and S l'itl, The following licenses were granted: T. J. H. Montaguo (jocl;cy), F. 'Cook (iipprentice), J. O'Neill (traiuer), and George Baker (gentlerean riders' certiflcnte). It was resolved that the Wanganul Club he advised there was no objection to the issue of a trainer's license to Percy Coffey and that the Masterton Club bo advised that tho Taranakl Committee could not recommend an application for u trainer's license which came through that club. Tho secretary's action in advising Auckland that there was no objection to Issuing a Jockey's license to R .Shaw, was confirmed. Tho Stratford Club's programme for Jan. Ist. and 2nd., 1!)20, meeting was approved.,
