NEWTON KING'S REPORT. At Mr. Newton King's Haymarket, New Plymouth, on Saturday, about 30 weaner pigs were yarded and sold at prices ranging from 25s to £2 2s. Heifer calves made 10a, At Stony River on Tuesday, Mr. Newton King had a splendid yarding of dairy cattle. Good cows sold well. A small herd on account of IMr. Major sold from £l9 to £3O. Good heifers sold .up to £l7 101. Very nice yearling steers changed hands at £4 in* to £5 15s. Yearling heifers were not «o goad and ranged about £4 in price. Two-year-old empty heifers—Shorthorn-IWealaii cross—made £7 5s to £7 7a. Good forward cows Bold up to fill, the average price being about £O. There were no fat cattle yarded.
