NEW HEIGHT RECORD. New York, Sept. 15. Major Schroeder, winner of the New ¥ork to Toronto air contest made a new height record of 28,600 feet, carrying a passenger. AN AERIAL RECORD. Received Sept. 16, 9:25 p.m. New York, Sept. 15. Roland Rohlfe reached an altitude of 34,000 feet in a Curtis aeroplane, beating the world's record.—Aua. N.Z. Cable Association.
