FATALITY ON SCHOONER. By Telegraph.—Press Association, i Auckland, Yesterday. At Levuka on September 1 on the American schooner King Cyrus, which was loading copra there, Captain Rosenthal and the harbormaster,. Captain Twentyman, went into the forepeak to get some wine. The harbormaster managed to get on deck. Three of the crew, Reinhold, Denholme, and Hans Wiekelsen, and two Fijians went to the rescue of the captain. All were asphyxiated, but volunteers managed to get them on deck. Two of the seamen and one native were dead. Captain Rosenthal and one native recovered. KILLED BY MOTOR CAR. Auckland, Yesterday. A widow, Mrs. Ralferty, residing in Mount Eden, while crossing the Kyber Pass Road last night,' was knocked down by a taxi cab driven by B. G. Hatcher, and died in the hospital. The driver did not see deceased until very close to her.
