TROUBLE AT KIRIPAKA. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Whangarei, Yesterday. Work has ceased at the Northern Company's mine at Kiripaka. The men to-day declined to accept the conditions of the company's managing direction, Mr. Holgate, that the "go-slow" policy must bB dropped, the normal output restored, and the agreement entered into last June adhered to. Mr. Holgate assorts that the output has been reduced over 50 per cent, during the, last week. The owners declare that the position constitutes a strike and that they will not be responsible for the men's tools left in the mine.
