DEALING WITH PROFITEERS.
ACT NOW IN FORCE. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.— Copyright. London, Sept. 13. The Board of Trade has issued the first order under the Profiteering Act, to ■become effective on September h. The schedules of goods include: Articles of clothing, household utensils, furniture, building materials, and many uncontrolled foodstuffs, particularly bottled, tinned, dried, and patent foods. Six hundred local authorities in Britain are establishing anti-profiteering committees.
