WOMEN'S EFFICIENCY LEAGUE.

A branch of this Society has been inaugurated in New Plymouth in the interests of prohibiton. The time has now come when thinking women of all shades of opinion are beginning to i*»lise that from the point of view of national welfare they must always be on the side of reform. A cordial invitation iB extended to all women to join this society, the president of which is Mrs. Evans, the vice-president, Mrs. Oseur Blundell, and the hon. sec., Mrs.' R. C. Hughes. A provisional committee has been formed with power to add to its numbers. Further information may be had from any of the officials.
