William Thomas Donald, a waterside worker who was injured by'a case falling on him while being unloaded from a steamer, died in hospital. A FATAL PALL. Auckland, Sept. 13. Arthur M'Vicar died at the hospital as the result of a fall from steps at his residence, Grey Lynn. 4 A FOOTBALL FATALITY. Waimate; Sept. 13. In a football match between Waimate and North Otago, played on Thursday week, George Hawke, aged 19, a Waimate forward, during the first, fifteen minutes of the game pitched on to his head, receiving injury to his spine, which caused partial paralysis. This gradually extended, and Hawke died at Oamaru last evening.
