A Hawke's Bay resident states that there is a splendid demand throughout the Dominion for good draught horses, and on Friday last in Auckland he saw a draught gelding priced at £IOO. The committee of the New Plymouth Beautifying Society held their meeting on Thursday evening at the rooms of the president.
