DESIRE REVISION OF PEACE i TREATY. By Telegraph.—P/ess Ass*.—CopyrleM. London, Sept. 10. The Trade Union Congress will promote a campaign in favor of the speedy admission of Germany into the League of Nations and the revision of the harsh provisions of the treaty. There was an animated discussion on the Police Union, delegates complaining of the Parliamentary Committee failing to support the police strikers. Mr. Sexton, M.P., denied that Marston, secretary of the union, was responsible for the union's defeat.
After having heard passages front the police report, the delegates withdraw tba motion.
NATIONALISATION OF MINES. CARRIED BY OVERWHELMING (MAJORITY Received Sept. 11, 6.5 p.m. London, Sept. 10. The Trades Union Congress, by 4,478,000 votes to 77,000, carried Mr. Smillie'e motion pledging the Congress to cooperate with the Miners' Federation and compel the Government to adopt nationalisation of the mines.—Aug. .Z, Cable Afsoo,
