WEATHER REPORT.
(By Telegraph.—Per Tress Association.) Wellington, Last Night. North-east and south-east winds, strong to gale, have predominated, and the atmospheric pressure has decreased everywhere. To-day rain has fallen generally, and heavy rain la the East Coast districts has accounted for freshes in many of the rivers. Some of tne high level stations in the South Island have reported snow. Present indications are for high south-east to southerly winds, and changeable unsettled wet weather generally. Further heavy rair. may be expected In the East Const districts of the North Island and in the north-east portions of the South, with rivers flooded and snow in the high country. »The barometer is unsteady, but rising soon In the north, ana falling in the south.
