The Peace Council informed Roumania tliat she must Bign the Austrian peace treaty without reservation or abstain altogether. The American delegation deny the reported Anglo-American guarantee of Belgian independence—Aus. N.Z. Cable Assoc. London, Sept. 8. Senator Pearce and Sir Thos. Mackenzie go to Paris to-morrow to sign the Austrian treaty. Sir Thomas Mackenzie will afterwards inspect the operations of the Graves Commission.—Aus. N.Z. Cable Assoc.
