THE PEOPLE'S. JOHN BARRY-MORE. , "On the Quiet," starring the inimitible comedian John Barrymore, screens finally to-night at the' People's. It is a five-act riot of fun in which he married the girl on the quiet because her parents objected. And how could he explain her presence in his rooms later on, especially when a wild champagne party was going on, with chorus girls and a race track tout as the chief guests in the the same apartment It was a difficult situation. See John Barrymore in 'On the Quiet." ENID BENNETT TO-MORROW. Dainty Enid Bennett is the new star on to-morrow's bill.' She is the central figure in ''When Do We Eat?" The production has strong entertaining qualities, the story told being .mp'of the class so dear to the heart of true picture lovers. In addition there is an admirable collection of supports.

EVERYBODY'S. JOHN BARRYMORE AS "RAFFLEd" TO-NIGHT. "'Raffles", the great detective story by E W. Hornung, is being shown in picture form at Everybody's to-uight and to-morrow. It features John Barrymore, America's foremost actor. When the picture begins we find Raffles a guesi of the Earl of Amersteth a't Milchester Abbey, and the company there is in a state of excitement owing to the number of daring burglaries that have taken place in the neighborhood- In order to effect a capture and put'an end to this annoying state of affairs, Lord Amersteth has engaged the services of Curtis Bedford, a celebrated American detective. Raffles views his advent with complacency and self-satisfaction, and is in no way disturbed by the immediate presence of such an adept in the art of catching criminals. Indeed, he accepts a money bet offered by the detective that the latter will succeed in obtaining possession of the diamonds within twenty four hours. The" story moves forward to an interesting climax.
