NAVIGATION OF THE SCHELDT.
ITALIAN SHIP STOPPED. By Telegraph.—Presa Association. Received Sept. 7, 5.5 p.m. London, Sept. 5. A Brussels telegram states that the Dutch authorities stopped an Italian cadet ship in the Scheldt, saying she must obtain permission to navigate the river. The captain declined, stating he was proceeding to Antwerp under his own Government's orders. The Dutch eventually desisted.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
