A STANDARD BILL OF LADING. Received Sept. 7, 6.5 p.m. London, Sept. S. A conference has been arranged, and will be held early in October, between the Merchants' Committee of the London Chamber of Commerce and leading shipfawners, with a view of endeavoring to Establish a standard bill of lading of the simplest possible character. The Merchants' Committee's idea is to remice the wording of the bill to the simple shram: "Received in good order and condition, and. to be delivered at destination in the same good order."—Au*.-N.Z.
