FARM AND DAIRY.
DAIRY CATTLE SALB. Mr. Newton King conducted n clearing sale on Thursday on account of Mr. S. Sutton, who has sold his farm at the Tapuae. There was a large attendance of buyers from all parts of the district. There was a small lino of pedigree Jerseys, and about 70 good grade and crossbred cows and heifers ,and all wore sold at the hammer, bidding being particularly brisk right through the sale. Messrs. C Fulrtrother and K. Cottier were the auctioneers. The details in connection with the pedigree stock are as follows: Oakdalo's Coldflnder, born August, 1911, King Capanlle—Gold Leaf, 40 guineas.—S.
