THRACE A STUMBLING BLOCK

It is expected that the conference, with a view to avoiding delay in presenting the treaty to Bulgaria, will defer the solution of the problem connected with the region of Thrace, which it ia essential Bulgaria should evacuate immediately.— Aus. The Supreme Council to-day discussed the Bulgarian treaty. Thrace remains the stumbling block. The suggested compromise between the American and Greek contentions gives Greece the Aegean seaboard, except which is reserved under the League of Nations as Bulgaria's economic outlet.— Aus. N.Z.
