SAILED. Newcastle, Sept. 3.—Perth, for New Zealand. RARAWA'S TRIP ABANDONED. The Northern Steamship's Company's local office, was advised yesterday that owing to the weather the Rarawa was not able to leave Onehunga. The trip therefore was abandoned, and the vessel will leave there tomorrow, arriving here on Saturday morning as usual.
THE BADEN POWELL. The Baden Powell, which put into port on Sunday afternon, while on route from Waltara to .Wellington, on account of stress of weather, was still at the wharf early last evening, the weather not having moderated sufficiently to enable her to leave.
THE ROSAMOND. The Rosamond is scheduled to leave Lyttelton for New Plymouth via Nelson, to-day, and should reach hero early next week. She will load 0500 crates of cheese for transhipment to the Athenlc.
TE ANAU FOR NEW PLYMOUTH. The local office of the U.SS. Company has been advised that the Te Anau will leave Wellington for New Plymouth, via way ports, on Saturday next.
REPAIRS TO PATEENA. The work of repairing the Patoena, which was damaged through a collision with tho Onehunga Wharf wlille berthing, and has been thrown out of her Onehunga-Wclllngton service, is proceeding apace, says tho Dominion. The old broken stanchions have been removed and new ones are now being placed in position. II is estimated that it will be another fortnight before the vessel takes up her running again.
THE KAUAMEA. The Karnmea, after discharge at Auckland, Wellington, and New Plymouth, Is to load at New Plymouth, Waltara, Nelson, Wangnnul, anil Wellington, sailing finally from Wellington on October 6.
NEWS OF THE CORDOBA. Advice has been received that the transport Cordoba left Durban August 22 for Fre. mantle and Wellington She should reach Wellington with her draft of returning troopi about the middle of the month.
