N.Z. CHAMPIONSHIP MEETING. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Napier, Last Night. The New Zealand championship golf meeting commenced at Waiohlki Links to-day, when first and second rounds of the open championship and anmteur championships of Hawke's Bay were played. The course was In splendid order, but a strong wind was blowing, and kept the scoring low. E. S. Douglas 84—81—188, and T, A. Clements SO—Bo—letl, leading In the professional, and S. Morpeth 77—81—155, H. E. Crosse 82—82—164, K. Tareha 84—80—104, and H. B. I.usk 91—711—170, the amateurs. Auckland won the Williams Cup, four men team, with a score of 340.
