The Baden rowell left Now Plymouth for Waltar.i on Saturday morning arriving there about noon. She sailed from tho river port at noon yesterday, hut on >neeting the high head wind put Into New Plymouth about 4.30 In the afternoon, and is awaiting the moderation of the weather. THE ROSAMOND. The Rosamond completed the discharge of her cargo on Saturday morning, and sailed for Wellington in the afternoon. THE NGAHEItE.. The Ngahcve arrived from Greyraoutlt about 11 o'clock on Saturday morning, and after discharging her cargo of coal sailed again for the West Coast at 6.3(1 p.m. THE TUKAU. The auxiliary launch Tukua, left New Plymouth for Awaklno at fi a.m. on Saturday and reached her destination at about noon. A BIG LINER FOR AUSTRALIA. Received Aug. 30, 5.5 p.m. London, Aug. 29. Hawthorn, Leslio and Co., Newcastle-on-Tyne, have launched a Commonwealth and Dominion liner, Port Adelaide, 12,700 tons, designed for the Australian meat trade. LINERS FOR NEW PLYMOUTH. Two of the Shaw Savlll Company's largo steamers are scheduled to arrive at New Plymouth next month In close succession. The Walwera, which this week arrived at Wellington from Newcastle, Is due here on Sunday, September 14, to load. The Karamea is due on the following Thursday (September 18), with a part cargo of slag' from England (about 750 tons), to discharge after calling at Auckland and Wellington, She will also commenco to load. The two vessels are to take a total of about 30,001) freight carcases of meat and a quantity of tallow and other produce.
